The project

Since its creation, the Regional Association for Integration (ARI in French) has enabled the inclusion of people with disabilities by using games as a central element of their teaching methods. However, the professionals have pointed out the lack of mainstream games addressing the topic of differences.

Topla and ARI joined forces to create La Forêt de Lucy (Lucy's Forest), a cooperative role-playing and puzzle game for the whole family where differences also become our strengths. By playing as Lucy’s knights, save the forest before the end of the night. But beware of the Beguls, these mischievous little creatures, who will try to thwart you... or help you!

As Topla’s art director, graphic designer, and illustrator, I was responsible for coordinating the teams in the creation of this game and designing the gameplay with them, then developing the story and its characters, its visual universe and illustrations, to finally laying it all out.
